DSIP
Price range: $45.00 through $95.00
DSIP (Delta Sleep–Inducing Peptide) is a naturally occurring neuropeptide consisting of nine amino acids, first isolated from the hypothalamic extracts of rabbits in 1974. It is primarily associated with the regulation of sleep physiology, stress modulation, and neuroendocrine homeostasis.
Although its exact mechanism of action remains under investigation, DSIP has been shown in preclinical research to influence electroencephalographic (EEG) sleep patterns, slow-wave sleep promotion, and corticotropin and growth hormone release.
In research settings, DSIP is used as a model compound to study sleep regulation, neuroendocrine peptide signaling, oxidative stress reduction, and hypothalamic–pituitary modulation. It is also of interest in studies examining circadian rhythm regulation, adaptogenic stress responses, and metabolic recovery mechanisms.
